Setup POP Email On Outlook 2007

Microsoft Outlook 2007

  1. Click the Tools menu, select Account Settings
  2. Click Tab E-mail and click New
  3. Choose Internet E-mail and click Next


     
  4. Click to select the Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next


     
  5. Fill in the following section
     
    • User Information
      Your Name:Your Name:Fill in the user name (Display Name)
      Email Address: Fill your email (Username@yourdomain.com)  (Username@yourdomain.com)
       
    • Server Information
      Incoming mail server3 (POP3): pop.gmail.com
      Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.gmail.com
       
    • Login Information
      User Name
      : Fill your email and press Next (Username@yourdomain.com)
      Password: Fill your Password


       
  6. When completed, press the More Settings
  7. Select Tab Outgoing Server
  8. Select check box My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and then click Use same settings as my incoming mail server and press OK


     
  9. Click Tab Advanced
  10. Choose check box  This server requires a secure connection (SSL)Under text Incoming mail server (POP3)and change number is 995
  11. Choose Use the following type of encrypted connection choose TLS Under text Outgoing mail server (SMTP) chane number from 25 is 587 and press OK and press Finish
